Moffat Beach

Retaining Technologies Group provided both technical support and the supply of the anchor system installed for a remedial works Retaining Wall project at a private residence on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.  The project’s key objective was to improve the Factor of Safety (FoS) against failure, whilst extending the life of the 30-year-old 4m high retaining wall.

39 RTG Hulk Anchor Systems with working design loads of up to 30kN (3 tonnes) were installed, along with 22 RTG Hulk Geosyphons to improve drainage. RTG Hulk Anchor Systems were selected for their durability, speed of installation, constructability and minimal environmental impact.  The project was completed within one week.
