Ground stabilisation involves the mixing of a ‘binder’ (cement or lime) and RoadCem into the in-situ (onsite) soils to improve soil strength.

This reduces the volume of site waste fill and the volume requirement of clean fill, thus providing a sustainable solution through the reduction of transport costs and overall carbon footprint, whilst shortening construction time.

Temporary Works

RoadCem can be used for temporary applications enabling the construction of access tracks, haul roads, working platforms and site compounds with the in-situ subsoils – effectively stabilising them into a strong, durable layers without the need for quarried aggregates or geosynthetics to be used.

This technique is used within a wide range of civil construction projects.

 

Permanent Works

For permanent applications RoadCem can provide a cost-effective solution for in-situ subgrade improvement and extending the life of pavements, providing lower maintenance costs.
